Student Technician - Mays Business School, Texas A&M

August 2024 - Present

I currently work as a student technician, providing technical support to faculty, staff, and graduate students. As one of the most senior student employees, I've recently taken upon the responsibility of interviewing and training new student employees. I attribute a lot of my personal development and growth to this job. I'm grateful to have a supportive environment which encourages personal and career progress, whether it be IT related or not.

Peer Mentor/TA for FYEX 101 - Hullabaloo U, Texas A&M

August 2024 - December 2024

In my Sophomore year, I had the pleasure of working as a TA for an introductory course called Hullabaloo U at A&M. I got to work with a great instructor who provided me with opportunities for independence and support when needed. As a peer mentor, I helped students navigate academic challenges by presenting lectures and leading activities alongside my instructor. We covered a wide range of topics covering ideas from study strategies to relationships and mental health. Furthermore, throughout the semester, I held one-on-ones with every student, getting to know them personally and hear about their goals. Although I haven't had the time to teach more sections of this class, I did really enjoy the semester.
